Summaery:

The FIB Monthly Photo Contest is a continuing effort to diversify individual participation in Fayetteville in Bloom / America in Bloom. Photograph submissions may be print or digital (digital submissions must be high resolution, print quality 300 dpi or higher). Submission deadline is the first day of each month. The photograph content must be from Fayetteville and should apply to one of the following categories: Floral Displays: hanging baskets, container plantings, flowers in landscaped areas, Heritage Preservation: recognizing the value of history including heirloom species, Environmental Awareness: recycling, reducing pollutants and pesticides, low impact, Landscaped Areas: native species planting, Community Involvement: education, churches, other community groups, Tidiness Efforts: Curb the Clutter program, keep areas mowed or otherwise maintained, Urban Forestry: tree plantings in residential, public and commercial areas, and Turf and Groundcover Areas: increasing use of groundcovers in right-of-ways. Monthly winners will be announced in the second week of each month and notified by mail and/or email. Winning entries will be used for Fayetteville in Bloom Fundraising Note Cards, Upcoming Calendar and Publicity Posters to be displayed at various locations.
